The publication Social participation, an exercise of rights talks about social participation, a practice in which many are involved for the betterment of their communities. This document explains how participation facilitates community education and learning from one´s peers, how participation promotes the adoption of new habits and practices that increase the possibility of attaining a better quality of life, and how participation forces the State to act effectively as a guarantor of the rights of the people.
