A reference document for education in humanization and ethics that includes teaching strategies. This publication contains a description of problems with the current curriculum, theoretical arguments, and a proposal for pedagogic design that treats ethical knowledge as a key component to one´s education. It details three periods of intensive study for additional coursework after receiving one´s degree. It also proposes ethical topics to include in nursing education. It ends with some methodological suggestions.
